Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of BatchPing ("BatchPing", "we", "us", or "our"), including the BatchPing website and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use BatchPing.

1. What BatchPing Does

BatchPing monitors publicly accessible information on ICAI portals about training batches and SPOM examination slots, and notifies you when availability appears for the courses, cities, or test centres you have chosen to watch.

Alerts are delivered through Telegram.

2. Independent Service — Not ICAI

We do not register you for any batch or examination, and we cannot reserve a seat for you. Registration and booking happen only on the official ICAI portals, under ICAI's own rules and terms.

3. Your Account

You sign in with Google Sign-In. You must provide an email address that you control.

You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and your Telegram account secure, and for activity that happens through your BatchPing account.

To keep the Service fair and reliable, we may limit the number of alerts each account can have active at the same time (currently up to 10 course watches and 10 SPOM test-centre watches).

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law to use the Service.

4. Alerts Are Best-Effort — No Guarantee

BatchPing is provided as a convenience. We work to detect openings quickly, but we cannot guarantee that:

• every available batch or examination slot will be detected;
• an alert will be sent or received at any particular time, or at all;
• seats or slots shown in an alert will still be available when you open the ICAI portal;
• the information in an alert is complete, accurate, or up to date.

Alerts can be delayed, missed, duplicated, or incorrect, for example because an ICAI portal changes or is unavailable, a network or provider fails, Telegram delays a message, or your notification settings block it.

Connect Telegram before creating a watch — watches cannot be created without it — and do not rely on any single check.

Always verify availability, eligibility, fees, dates, and centres on the official ICAI portals before taking any action, and do not rely on BatchPing for deadlines you cannot afford to miss.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms or the terms of the ICAI portals;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts;
• bypass or interfere with rate limits, bot protection, or other security measures;
• use automated means (such as scripts or bots) to access the Service, create accounts, or request sign-in links, other than through the features we provide;
• use the Service to send spam or to harass others;
• copy, resell, or commercially redistribute the Service or its alerts without our written permission;
• provide false information, or use another person's email address or Telegram account without permission.

6. Third-Party Services

BatchPing depends on third parties that we do not control, including the ICAI portals, Telegram, Google, and our hosting and infrastructure providers.

Their availability, changes, and terms are outside our control. If an ICAI portal changes its structure, blocks access, or restricts automated reading of its pages, BatchPing may stop working fully or partly without notice.

Your use of Telegram, Google, and the ICAI portals is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. The Service Is Provided Free and May Change

BatchPing is currently provided free of charge. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features, or the whole Service, at any time, with or without notice.

We do not promise any particular level of availability, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access, remove your alerts, or limit features, at any time and without liability, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, are abusing the Service, or are putting the Service or other users at risk.

You may stop using BatchPing at any time. You can cancel individual alerts from your dashboard, disconnect Telegram, or request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The BatchPing name, website design, and software are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable law. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as intended.

ICAI, SPOM, and other names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the information we monitor.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BatchPing and the people behind it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunity, including a missed batch, a missed examination slot, a missed registration deadline, or any loss arising from a delayed, missed, or incorrect alert.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the preceding twelve months, which is nil while the Service is free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. By using the Service you acknowledge that policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the website or other available channels. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when these Terms were most recently changed.

If you continue to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to you under applicable law. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
