How BatchPing alerts work, answered.
Everything CA students ask before trusting a seat alert.
How do BatchPing alerts work?
You log in with Telegram and watch an ICITSS city-plus-course combination or a SPOM test centre. BatchPing checks the ICAI training portal and the SPMT exam portal around the clock and sends you a Telegram message the moment seats or new batches appear. You get one message per opening — nothing resends while seats stay open. If a full batch reopens through a cancellation, you are alerted again.
Which ICAI courses and exams are covered?
Training batches: ICITSS — Information Technology Training (ITT) and Orientation Course (OC) — and Advanced ICITSS — Management and Communication Skills (MCS) and Advanced Information Technology Training (Adv ITT).
Exam slots: Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM) Set A and Set B, across test centres in India. Pick a state, city, and centre, and watch it for open dates.
How do I check SPOM batch availability?
Watch your test centre on BatchPing: pick the state, city, and centre, and you get a free Telegram alert the moment SPOM batch availability changes — new dates, open seats, and capacity updates. The SPMT portal itself shows only a snapshot that goes stale fast; BatchPing re-checks around the clock so you hear about openings within minutes.
Which SPOM batches can I watch?
All of them: every SPOM test centre across India, Set A and Set B dates alike. You can watch up to 3 test centres at a time and get up to 3 Telegram alerts per centre; resume any auto-paused watch from your dashboard for 3 more.
Why is Telegram required?
Seats vanish in minutes, so alerts must be instant and free. Telegram delivers in seconds at zero cost. Email lands in spam folders too late, and SMS costs money per message — so BatchPing is Telegram-only: you log in with Telegram and alerts arrive in the same chat. Sending /stop to the bot pauses your watches; logging in again resumes them.
What happens when seats open? What if the portal shows zero?
You get a Telegram message naming the batch or exam date, the seat count, and the timing, plus a link to the official ICAI portal. Open it immediately and book there — BatchPing never books for you and cannot reserve seats.
Hundreds of students chase the same seats, so they can fill between our check and your visit. Keep your watch active: if seats reopen through cancellation, you will be alerted again.
Is BatchPing free? Any limits?
Yes, free. Watch up to 3 courses and 3 test centres at a time. Once you book, tap "I registered" or "I booked" so alerts stop and other students get their chance. You can remove any watch anytime from your dashboard.
Is BatchPing affiliated with ICAI?
No. BatchPing is an independent service built by a CA student. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Always verify dates, fees, eligibility, and centres on the official ICAI portals before acting — and never rely on any alert for a deadline you cannot afford to miss.
